Now at Zillah Bell Gallery, Thirsk, N Yorkshire. Floating framed in stained oak. The Cheviot as imagined with a late winter sun setting behind creating complimentary colours in the snow. This painting develops the rhythms of the Cheviot Hills as a kind of dance or musical balance so although superficial realistic it's real life is more abstract perhaps in the way that Roger Fry thought that all painting was. This series of Cheviot paintings is based on the memory of one walk.
Now available as an A3+ limited edition, framed & mounted print price £195 + p&p or £125+p&p mounted print only or £99 print only in a tube. Prices for larger sizes on application.
